East Haven Police: Daytime Burglary Suspect Arrested
After a rash of recent daytime burglaries in the Thompson Avenue area of town, East Haven Police report they now have a local man in custody.
The following is a press release from the East Haven Police Department.
On April 25, 2013, the East Haven Police Department arrested John Doheny (DOB 8-8-1987) of Waldo Street, East Haven, on warrants for five (5) separate burglary complaints.
The burglaries took place spanning a two week period. All of the burglaries were within a few streets of each other and of the suspect’s residence.
Previously, Doheny was arrested on March 21, 2013 for a burglary, leading investigators to connect Doheny to the other five burglaries in the area.
Doheny’s charges for the arrests included Burglary, Larceny, and Criminal Mischief.
Doheny was held on bond and arraigned in New Haven Superior Court on April 25, 2013.
