East Haven Police Arrests for March 14 to March 17

This information about recent arrests has been provided by the East Haven Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Theodore Matos, 28, of Beecher Place in New Haven, was charged March 17 with second-degree breach of peace. No bond amount was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 28. Arresting officer: Thomas J. Herbert.

Ronald James Herbert, 36, of French Street in Ansonia, was charged March 16 with carrying a loaded firearm while intoxicated, second-degree breach of peace, first-degree threatening and first-degree reckless endangerment. A bond amount of $25,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 27. Arresting officer: John F. Finnimore.


Demion Conner, 43, of Phipps Drive in West Haven, was charged March 15 with interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct. A bond amount of $1,000 was set and he was scheduled to appear court March 18. Arresting officer: Kevin P. Klarman.

Elias Santana, 33, Longhill Road in Guilford, was charged March 14 with operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence. A bond amount of $1,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court March 28. Arresting officer: Carlos Roman.

Jason Leonard Katz, 39, of Silliman Road in Wallingford, was charged March 14 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. A bond amount of $5,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court March 15. Arresting officer: Edmund Vecellio.
