East Haven Police Arrests: Criminal Violation of a Restraining Order, Larceny, Probation Violation

Gerald Clifford Haag, 52, of Totoket Road in North Branford, was charged Dec. 4 with violation of probation. A $20,000 bond was set and he was scheduled to appear in court the same day. Arresting officer: Shirley Conyers.

Darren Lawrence Bennett, 30, was charged Dec. 2 with failure to respond to infraction and a separate charge of violation of probation. A total bond amount of $25,092 was set and he was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3. Arresting officer: Robert S. Brockett. 

Hector Lois Torres, 55, of Messina Drive in East Haven, was charged Dec. 2 with first-degree failure to appear in court, as well as two other separate counts of failure to appear in court. A total bond amount of $550 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 9. Arresting officer: Edmund Vecellio.

Charlenne Torres, 20, of Ridge Court East in West Haven, was charged Dec. 2 with criminal violation of a restraining order. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and she was scheduled to appear in court the same day. Arresting officer: John F. Finnimore.

Julie R. DeFranco, 21, of Jacobs Street in Briston, was charged Dec. 1 with sixth-degree larceny. No bond amount was set and she is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11. Arresting officer: John F. Finnimore.

Colleen M. Picone, 34, of Mill Street in East Haven, was charged Nov. 30 with sixth-degree larceny. No bond amount was set and she is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11. Arresting officer: Craig Michalowski.
