East Haven Metro-North Worker Killed by Train

A man from East Haven who worked for Metro North Railroad has been struck and killed on the tracks by a commuter train, the New Haven Register reported. 

The worker has been identified as Robert Luden, 52, of East Haven, the newspaper reported. 

According to the newspaper, Luden was working at the West Haven train station, which is under construction, when he was allegedly hit by a commuter train around noon on May 28. 

The train was traveling from New Haven to Milford, as was reported.
