VIDEO: East Haven Firefighters Battle North High Blaze

No one was injured during the fire, which began shortly before 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Update at 10 p.m.

Although the investigation into the cause of today's blaze continues, East Haven Fire Assistant Chief Chuck Licata tells East Haven Patch tonight that the fire may have been electrical in nature. 

And while the homeowner was in the house at the time of the fire, no one was injured during the incident.

East Haven firefighters are at the scene of a house fire at the corner of North High and Howe Court.

Officials at the scene say no one was injured during the incident, which began at about 3:30 p.m.

The fire appears to now be under control, as firefighters continue their efforts to completely put out the blaze.

Expect traffic delays along North High due to the activity.
