Power Back on in East Haven
United Illuminating reports that all but one of the utility company's 12,986 customers have power in town.

Looks like everybody is now back online in.
United Illuminating is reporting that all but one customer in town is back online. That number had been almost 2,000 less than an hour ago.

An East Haven Fire Department offiial told East Haven Patch a short time ago that this morning's report of a pole fire near the Boston and Harrington avenue area proved to be unfounded, as firefighters were unalbe to locate any problems in that area.

A large swath of downtown East Haven is currently without power.
As of 11:15 a.m., United Illuminating is reporting that 1,940 custimers in town are currently with out electricity.
responded to a report of a police fire in the area of Boston Avenue and Harrington Avenue at 10:16 a.m. It is unclear at this time, however, if that incident is related to the current power outage.
