The following is a press release from the Branford Police Department.

Predominately, restaurants along the Route 1 corridor have been targeted and entry has been made through rear doors. Most of the business had commercial burglary alarms and in one of the cases the alarm was defeated.

Additionally, three (3) of the businesses had a video surveillance systems.

Police believe the suspects are two (2) males and they were operating a silver or grey pick-up truck, possibly a Dodge.
