Blotter: Gun Charges, Larceny Near the Police Department

Arrests from Aug. 13-16.

The following arrest information was provided by the East Haven Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

An East Haven man faces a $250,000 bond after allegedly stealing two guns and possessing drugs. Daniel Quoka, 20, of Sunset Road was charged with two counts of theft of a firearm, third-degree burglary, two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of the illegal distribution of hallucinogenic and possessing drug paraphernalia. He’s scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in East Haven on Aug. 24.

Alexander Stewart, 47, of Milford was arrested on Aug. 16 on charges of unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and first-degree reckless endangerment. His bail was set at $250,000 and he’s scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New Haven on Aug. 17.

Two family members were arrested after getting in an argument on Aug. 16. According to the police, Anthony Morgillo, 19, of Stoddard Road, and Joseph Morgillo, 48, of George Street were involved in the domestic dispute. Anthony was charged with disorderly conduct, while Joseph was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a protective order. Bail was set at $1,000 each and both were scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New Haven on Aug. 17.

A New Haven man was arrested for allegedly committing sixth-degree larceny just 500 feet from the East Haven Police Department. Bail for Michael Zurlis, 29, was set at $1,000 and he’s scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New Haven on Aug. 24.

James Rubino, 47, of Mansfield Grove Road in East Haven, was arrested on Aug. 16 on charges if fourth-degree sexual assault and risking injury to a minor. His bail was set at $50,000 and he was scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New Haven on Aug. 17.

Jillyanne Sault, 23, of North Haven, was arrested on Aug. 15 on a charge of third-degree larceny. Her bail was set at $1,000 and she’s scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24.

Anthony Corso, 50, of Main Street in East Haven, was arrested on Aug. 14 on charges of second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment. His bail was set at $1,000 and he’s scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24.

Ronald Hardy, 62, of Laurel Street in East Haven,, was arrested on Aug. 14 on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault. His bail was set at $1,000 and he’s scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24.

Trudi Moore, 44, of Vista Drive in East Haven, was arrested on Aug. 13 on charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of narcotics. Her bail was set at $1,000 and she’s scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24.

Gina Impronto, 19, of Blake Court in East Haven, was arrested on Aug. 16 on charges of evading responsibility and driving in the improper lane after getting in an accident on Prospect Place Extension. Her bail was set at $1,000 and she’s scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New Haven on Aug. 25.
