'Accidental' $1,000 Shoplifting, A Near-Death Experience

A Stratford woman was arrested on a larceny charge after she allegedly exited a Fairfield store without paying for . Police said she claimed to not have realized she did not purchase the items.

Three men brazenly robbed a woman in New Haven even though she was being escorted to her car by a security guard, reported the New Haven Register. Two of the men have been arrested.

There was a protective court order preventing a man from visiting a home in Orange. That didn’t stop him from showing up with marijuana and . Nobody was injured.

A man last week claims he was stabbed during a concert at Toad’s Place in New Haven, reported the New Haven Register. The owner of the concert venue denies that anybody was stabbed because of the security measures taken that night.

An Oxford man amazingly survived with a minor facial scrap on Monday night in his town. The car caught on fire, but neighbors ran to the scene and knocked down the flames.

A pack of teenagers , according to Hamden Police. They didn't get the phone but did get her earphones, and cops nabbed three of the alleged perpetrators and are looking for the rest.
