A Helping Hand: EHFD Motorcycle Poker Run This Sunday

East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 will hold its annual motorcycle poker run to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association this Sunday, April 27.

The East Haven Fire Firefighters Local 1205 will host its 10 annual motorcycle poker run this Sunday, April 27.

The event, which goes to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, begins with breakfast and registration at Smitty's Eastside Cafe on Main Street from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

It is $25 per hand to participate. There will be five cards in total, with one card each at start and finish — and one each at three shoreline stops.

After recieving the fifth card, riders can purchase up to two additional cards at $5 each. However, only five cards per rider can be entered.

Cash and trophies will be awarded to those who finish first, second, third and last. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

Also, lunch will be provided after the ride.
