"Some of the plants were in plain view outside, visible from the street," Emerman told East Haven Patch.

Although he did not have an exact number, Emerman said "it appears from the report that several plants were seized."

Not for Sale

And while there were several plants taken from his home, police do not believe the man was growing the pot for anything other than his own personal use.

"Based on the officer’s investigation and interview with the suspect, there was no indication that Mr. Terrace was selling the marijuana," Emerman told East Haven Patch.

Terrace is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
