Opinion: Watch the Debate

Who Do You Choose?

There are so many voters who are either misinformed or underinformed that debates may be the last chance people get to understand each politician and their views. Tonight Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan will face off for the first and I believe, correct me if I am wrong, last time in a debate. The Vice Presidential debate, before the first presidential debate, seemed like it was no where near a big deal. But after President Obama's performance at the last debate this debate is serious. With only 26 days until election day these last few debates are crucial to either candidates agenda. These two candidates, President Obama and Former Governor Mitt Romney have very different opinions on many topics. I urge everyone to watch these debates, fact check what each candidate says because many lis have been spewed already, and support who shares the most ideals with you. I am supporting President Obama because of any of his policies such as "Obamacare". This directly impacts my entire family and business. Connecticut had already enacted parts of this law prior so it was not such a drastic change for this state but for others, it was drastic. I will not support Governor Romney because he supports Paul Ryan's "voucher" plan which will lead to many people not getting he amount that they need to pay for their medical bills. To be honest, about a year or so ago I liked Romney because he seemed very moderate and that i how I align myself, moderate but unfortunately his ideals changed over time to more conservative and I cannot support him. Although I still like Mitt over Paul Ryan and Linda Mcmahon, I will be pledging my support to President Barack Obama.

In closing, please, everyone, go out and vote on election day. I do not care who you support as long as you vote. This is a freedom that was fought for and won. If you support Mitt, go out and vote. This is a democracy which means we are free to vote for whom we wish, so please take advantage of that. Remember, pay attention to the debates!

Tell me more about your business and why it supposedly impacts you so I can respond. I'm a little suspicious of youralkegef motivation at this point. I haven't spoken to a single business owner who is in favor of obamacare. It will cost them money and cause layoffs. . also, you link us to any blog post or anything along those lines from back when you supposedly supported Romney? It is an old trick , pretend you used to support one candidate but "switched" to the other candidate for some reason.

Also, obamacare is a TAX that takes money from some to pay for the services received by a complete stranger. REDISTRIBUTION! It cuts 716 billion from Medicare over 10 years and directs that money to MORE freebies to Obamas entitlement crowd including illegal aliens. The people of east haven got fooled last time, they aren't going to get fooled again. If Obama gets in the town will get besieged by illegal Immigrants, and the school system will be flooded with immigrant kids. Now the money to "educate" these kids had to come from somewhere, so property taxes will spike. Couple that with all the other taxes and crappy job situation and huge amounts of people will lose their homes. (Continued)

Eventually the federal government is going to tax anyone still standing further to purchase foreclosed homes. The government will eventually acquire all the property, and hand out ownership or use to whoever it wants. Obama wrote a book called "dreams from my father". And quite frankly, taking land from whites IS the dream from his father.
Lance Coughlin October 11, 2012 at 04:14 PM
Here it is an article written by Obamas alleged father- it advocates the taking of land from whites. The Obama theory is that the white man stole America from Mexicans and the American Indian, and enriched themselves through the slave labor of black Africans. Therefore owned or possessed by the white man is essentially stolen and they hold no legal title to it. http://www.politico.com/static/PPM41_eastafrica.html

Fun VP debate fact. Obama attended the wedding of the moderator for tonight's debate. He went to law school with her ex husband, and the moderator And Obamas buddy have a kid together. Exactly how close are obama and the moderators ex? Obama made him head of the FCC! No conflict of interest here, huh?

Luckily Mr Ryan is by far the most able bodied VP candidate I've seen in years, present company, most definitely included. So while I've heard that Mr. Biden is a MasterDebater, so to speak, I think This young upstart will manage. Even with this moderator bias.

But Biden does love to stick his foot in his mouth far too many times.

Lance I will say that I fully support Obama. I never said I supported Romney I said I liked him at one point and I actually still do for the idea he had in MA about healthcare and other minor details. But unfortunately going national in politics changes people and ideas therefore, I cannot support him. However, I will say I am hoping Biden does well tonight!

It's going to be a real interesting brouhaha.
I will be very suprised if Biden can win tonight...Biden has a history of putting his foot in his mouth and committing many verbal gaffes. I think that Mr Ryan if he is well prepared may be able to carry the night as it is well known that Mr Ryan is a very skilled debater.

Ok, here's my one comment on this subject...I DO NOT, in any way shape or form, support Obama. Been there, done that and that didn't work out so well. I fell for the whole "Hope & Change" thing, and we see where that got us all. Not falling for it a second time. And Obamacare?? Not falling for that either. It will NOT help anyone, except those that don't work for anything they get. What more do these people want? Free homes, free food, free heat, free education, all with no taxes, now free health care, too? Don't they already get that anyway? And Mr. Coughlin, LIKE to everything you said.
Looks like I called it according to CNN: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/330185/cnn-ryan-wins-style-eliana-johnson
