What is wrong with Mr. Hoff?

What is wrong with Mr. Robert "Danny" Hoff? Hoff ran as an officially endorsed candidate for town council in district 3 in the democratic primary on Sept. 10. I ran as a petition candidate in the same primary. On election night I was tied with Joanne Lubeneau for the third and final ballot spot. After a recount I was defeated by 1 vote. After a very long day and night I posted on my personal facebook page for my friends describing my feelings. This post was intended for my friends only. In the post I wrote of one of my reasons for running was to keep "an absolute nut job" off of my party's ballot in November. On September 24 I received a private facebook message from Hoff which simply contained a copy/paste from my post of Sept. 11. I responded to Hoff with a message advising him never to contact me in any way or I would make a harassment complaint to the Police. I was advised on Dec. 1 that Mr. Hoff posted the following on his personal facebook page:  "Kevin Dacey a former Third District Town Council Candidate had this to say about me and my accomplishments:Kevin Dacey

Update: remember now I live in East Haven where it takes 3+ hours to tally about 150 absentee ballots. I am officiallly in a tie for the third town council spot on the November ballot. A recount will take placeon Saturday. I won't be there as I have a previous engagement. To the 14 neighbors and friends who failed to show up and vote, thank you for your support! Special thanks to the 5 I calledat 6pm to remind to vote by 8 that never showed after saying they would. Seriously I don't much care if I win or lose the recount as the women I'm tied with is a wonderful person. I entered this race to keep an absolute nut job off my party's ballot in November. Mission accomplished as he was the low vote getter in the district."

Once again this man copied and pasted my facebook post. Mr. Hoff as usual thinks my post was about his accomplishments. Whatever there are. My post had nothing to do with his perceived accomplishments, but rather his unsuitability (in my opinion) to serve me on the town council.It is now nearly three months after the primary and this man can't seem to let it go. I do not know Mr. Hoff and only learned about him here on patch. I came to believe that the things posted about Mr. Hoff were in fact true and said facts make him unworthy to serve East Haven in any way. This one article that was posted here on patch list all the things that make Hoff unsuitable to serve in any way. http://easthaven.patch.com/groups/opinion/p/mr-hoff-stop-trying-to-garner-sympathy-and-votes-with-your-disabilities  Mr. Hoff since I will not contact you directly I am asking you here to get over the fact that you finished 6 out of 6 in your quest for town council. Please stop posting my name on your facebook page or anywhere else. Lastly please accept your fate that inspite of your good deeds (we still don't know if any of this was court ordered community service) the democrats of your district rejected you, As you well know of the 6 that ran for town council in our district in the primary, 4 are members of the DTC, 1 is the son of a former TC chairman, then there was me with no ties to the DTC only a registered democrat.
