We No Longer Need Congress

I would not have believed it if I didn't hear it with my own ears.  During the SOTU address President Obama came right out and said it, and said it in front of the elected members of Congress and yes the world.  What he said was he no longer will wait for Congress to act on laws and bills he wants passed.  He will do all this via executive order, which is allowed by the courts.  In other words - it's his way or the highway.

The courts have though allowed a way out of these executive orders by allowing Congress to void them by either de-funding or out-right repeal.  That's if Congress has the guts to do such. They will not.  With the use of Presidential executive orders we in a nut shell have lost the meaning of this country's concept of government - a government "of the people, by the people, for the people."  In fact, there is no reason to even have a sitting Congress.

What makes all this even scarier is what happen last March.  Jose Serrano, D-NY, submitted a bill to the House of Representatives, calling for the repeal of the 22nd Amendment, thus allowing Obama to continue serving, basically be President for Life.  Now we all know this would never happen but such a bill was writen and excepted into committee.  The fact is there are puppets in Congress that would love to pass such a repeal and we have such puppets right here in CT.

There is another saying that rings true with all this - "Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid".
