Struck a Nerve

We have something wonderful in this country and it's called the First Amendment of the Constitution. This gives everyone the right of free speech & of expression.  The Patch is a form of media many people in town use not only for news but as a source for commentary.  I use this media to express my opinion and give my thoughts as to a subject of interest, but NEVER have I called people names or have been disrespectful to others.  Ninety-nine percent of those using this media are courteous and respectful as well.  We all have opinions and have a right to express those opinions but must do so in a cordial manner.

Evidently I wrote something recently or had a comment on a subject that hit a nerve with the leader of the democratic party.  He called my home last Saturday, I wasn't home but he left a message.  (Now re-read my first paragraph)  Evidently the DTC has issues with what I post, my freedom of speech and expression.  Wanted to know why I do it, why do I write what I write and demanded I pick up the phone. After a minute or so of his rambling and just before hanging up he called me names.   What a great leader the E.H. Democratic party has. 

By the way, in his rambling he said "he was in charge of the party and is running everything, its his job".  Based on his call I assumed he meant the running of the Stacey campaign.  Everyone had a feeling he was in charge but now we all know its true.  He IS running the "show".

A little word of advice to the DTC, don't call again.  This was the second time you made calls to my home wanting to talk about my commentary.  Take the hint, I have nothing to say to you.  Don't try using another number for I have access to obtain the owner/identification of phone numbers that call, well beyond the normal caller ID.   I will file phone harassment charges against you and I will not back down and change my mind like in your Josie Wales threatening issue.  I suggest you read and study up on CGS 53a-183(3).  Don't believe me - Try me.
