It’s the second week of presidential politicking in the United States, as Americans now in Tampa, FL, last week to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC, this week.

Like the Republican convention, dozens of national figures — congressmen, governors and some celebrities — have given emotional, and sometimes fiery, speeches on why President Barack Obama should be re-elected to another four years.

Among the group was .

But tonight is the main event, when Obama will assume the stage during the last night of the convention to accept his party’s nomination for a second term.

Was waiting to hear George W. Bush's speech at the convention. Or even Sarah Palin's or Dick Cheney speeches. So the last sitting president and vice president and the last VP candidate, all censored from speaking? Wonder why?

Robert Bracer - Please read the title of this article - " Patch's Poll: Who Has Had the Best Speech at the Democratic National Convention So Far? " George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin are all Republicans and were not invited to speak at the Democrat National Convention. I have received word that George Lucas has filed for copyright infringement when he viewed the Democrat National Convention video. He felt it was just like watching the "bar scene" from the original Star Wars movie.

Very funny, DHHS! Actually, though--I believe the Wookies and other misfits/aliens etc. (sorry, I'm not up on their names/accurate descriptions) would be rightly insulted to be associated/likened at all to the harridans who spoke (screeched) at the abortion fest--aka DN convention. That list of "screechers" included Sandra Fluke, Elizabeth Warren alias "Fauxcahontas," Pelosi, Tammy Baldwin, Nancy Keenan (the abortion cheerleader of NARAL), Jennifer Granholm, and Dannel 88. ..."of course there’s Fauxcahontas, the great liberal hope of the future, who’s already 63 and has run a sufficiently dismal campaign that she’s trailing Scott Brown in the bluest of blue states. Beyond that, it’s nothing but no-names; exhausted party retreads a la Pelosi and Kerry; Charlie Crist and Linc Chafee for comic relief; and a few NARAL/Planned Parenthood types to remind America what’s really important with unemployment still stuck above eight percent. That’s what’s on tap this year from the Party of Youth and Fresh Ideas." http://hotair.com/archives/2012/08/31/confirmed-line-up-of-speakers-at-democratic-convention-is-simply-terrible/
