Egg yolks are as bad as cigarettes? That’s the latest report in the scientific journal, Atherosclerosis.
The publication released a study this warning that for those over 40, the number of egg yolks consumed per week accelerates the thickening of the artieries as severely as cigarette smoking does, the Hartford Courant reported.
The Courant has a full breakdown of the study here.
Hearing this, we wanted to find out from you: do you eat the yolks in your eggs or do you cut them out so to eat only the egg white? Take our poll and share your thoughts in the comments.
Next weeks study will say egg yolks cure the common cold but don't drink water. I really believe it is not the food but the things added to grow food that causes the problems. Go back to small scale farms that can produce for the neighborhood and I'll bet without the precautionary stuff added to feed and fertilizer, we'd all be a lot healthier.
