Tuesday, July 31
Summer Olympics, 8 p.m., NBC
Tonight, Gymnastics: women's team final; swimming, finals: men's 200m butterfly, men's 4x200m freestyle relay, women's 200m freestyle, women's 200m individual medley; diving: women's synchronized platform final. I love the synchronized diving. In our family room, the kids gather every pillow we have in the house, including all the big cushions, and they create a giant mosh pit of sorts, and then they spend hours leaping off the back of the couch into the squishy pile and taking photos of the jumps. Their synchronized stuff is spectacular.
Trust Us With Your Life, 9:30 p.m., ABC
Tonight, David Hasselhoff. Please do the drunken cheeseburger. Please do the drunken cheeseburger. Please do the drunken cheeseburger.
All The Right Moves, 9 p.m., Oxygen
Hello! This show sounds like my dream come true! “"All the Right Moves" follows the tight knit friendships and journey of Emmy®-nominated choreographer Travis Wall ("So You Think You Can Dance"), Teddy Forance (recently featured on "Dancing With the Stars" as dancer and choreographer), Nick Lazzarini (winner of "So You Think You Can Dance" season one), and Juilliard-trained Kyle Robinson ("Dancing With the Stars"), four of the most successful and sought-after dancers in the industry. These close friends have banded together to take dance to a whole new level by launching their dance company called SHAPING SOUND. With careers, reputations, and friendships on the line, they're striving to change the world of dance forever by giving background dancers a chance to shine.”
