Great community support!!

The East Haven high school hockey team played their quarter final game in the CIAC tournament Saturday night at Yale's Ingalls rink. Although they were soundly beaten by a far superior team (top ranked Notre Dame Ffld) the community support was outstanding. From the multiple bus loads of students to the hundreds of other supporters the East Haven side of Ingalls was packed. Times like this when the community comes out to support our kids makes us look good. I wish the paper in New Haven would do a story about this type of community spirit.

Far superior team? That's what happens when you get to choose who you want playing for you unlike the public schools. I have been involved with hockey for over 30 years and STILL they place public and private schools together. They need a PREP SCHOOL division. Are you listening Dr. Thomas Neagle????? Doubt it, you never do.
