Cutting More Grass with Less?

We all know the Mayor's big slug line has been "Do More with Less!" Less Police, Less or faulty equipment, Less time spent actually working in Town Hall. I know this was brought up by Sam Giglio already, but I thought it was important to take it a step further and show you what "Less" means to our public works department. Here are some pictures of the blades they were using to cut the 140ish acres in town. Normally we had 5 mowers; sadly that number got cut down to two!!!! Two mowers for all that green, talk about handcuffing our PW Department. I've heard we are finally back up to 4. It's sad to watch a baseball game where out of town teams spend most of the game commenting on how the ball gets lost in 8 inches of grass. If you look at the mower blades, you can see they have been sharpened. No one would sharpen those blades unless they had no other choice...the loose metal on those blades could hurt someone. Let's pick and choose our "More with Less" wisely.
