Three of the 10 most expensive private colleges in the nation are in Connecticut, according to U.S. News and World Report's annual ranking of expensive colleges. This year's list includes Trinity College, Connecticut College and Wesleyan University.

Trinity College, in Hartford, ranked third at $44,070 for tuition and fees, according to the list.

Connecticut College, in New London, came in fifth, at $43,990.

Wesleyan University, in Middletown, ranked eighth at $43,674.

They keep the prices high so that people with weak DNA can't afford to go to them I guess. Who knows?

We have great community colleges and state universities. There is no need to spend an extra $30k a year for a piece of paper. Its all of what you make of it. Enjoy!
