Let's Skate for Leah!

Skate for Leah, an annual MADD event held in memory of Leah Hall, killed by a drunk driver in 1995.

Skate for Leah, an annual MADD event held in memory of Leah Hall, killed by a drunk driver in 1995.  At the request of Leah’s family, MADD will hold its 12th annual skating event in an attempt to reach out to youth to create awareness about the issues of underage drinking and drunk driving.  Skate for Leah will be an enjoyable event for all ages.

The funds raised will enable us to provide educational awareness programs to our young people, provide free advocacy programs to victims of alcohol–related crashes and their families, and to continue educating the community about the dangers of drinking and driving.

How come the details of this tragedy are not reported? The road was shutdown for five hours! I heardRead More the contractor moved the lines in the road to avoid the secret military plumbing project and didn't post signs to alert drivers.
