East Haven Police: 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town'
Santa will once again return to East Haven this holiday season, making sure to visit all the town's good girls and boys — with the help of the East Haven Police Department.
The following is a public announcement from the East Haven Police via the department's Facebook page.
In coordination with EHPD Local 1662 and the East Haven Police Department, we are accepting donations in the form of NEW, UNWRAPPED, toys for the Toys for Tots program at the East Haven PD Headquarters, 471 North High Street.
Donations can be taken by dispatchers or the shift supervisor.
In return for donations received, East Haven residents may also complete a registration form to have Santa Claus make a brief visit to their home in an EHPD cruiser on December 21, 2013 between 1500 and 2100 hours.
Registration forms will be located at the front window of the police department.
Registrations will be accepted from November 25, 2013 (Monday) to December 14, 2013 (Saturday).
Santa Claus visits will be done by off duty union volunteers. Registration forms will include further instructions for residents who participate.
