Columbus Day Trash & Recycling Remains on Schedule
What to do this long holiday weekend? How about heading into Branford to see the Columbus Day parade?
In case you were wondering about your trash pick-up in East Haven on Monday, October 14, which is the Columbus Day holiday, all trash and recycling pick-ups will occur as regularly scheduled. There will be NO delay in service during the holiday week.
Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. would like to remind residents that all Town Offices will be closed Monday October 14th in observance of Columbus Day. All East Haven public schools are closed that day as well.
If you are looking for something special to do this long holiday weekend, why not go see the Columbus Day parade in Branford. It takes place on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1:30pm on the Branford Town Green. For more information, click here.
