Citizens Bank sponsors 4th Annual Wicked Good 5K and Children’s Fun Run in New Haven

Citizens Bank is sponsoring The Connection Fund’s 4th Annual Wicked Good 5K, Children’s Fun Run and Family Festival on October 27, 2013. The event will start at 10 a.m. and will be held at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT.

The Connection Fund is an organization that raises funds to help thousands of deserving children and adults affected by poverty and homelessness. In doing so, it provides housing for people who otherwise would be homeless, creates jobs for those who are unemployed and provides stability within the community.

The annual 5K helps to create awareness for The Connection Fund, drawing more than 2,500 attendees from the Greater New Haven area. The festival will have food, drinks, live music and Halloween-inspired kids’ activities. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume.
