Extended Day Academy @ EHHS

The Extended Day Program at EHHS has been up and running since Monday,11/4/2013. The purpose of the program is to support and challenge all learners through interventions and/or enrichment activities. Thus, Mr. DeNuzzo and Mrs. Marsico decided to take the program in several directions this year. The program will run in sessions, so staff and students are committed for only 4-6 weeks at a time. Some ideas for programs are as follows: academic support, SAT prep prior to testing, writing workshops by theme, research skills, etc.

 

Highlights:

  • Afternoon sessions from 2:15-3:30 PM.
  • Transportation provided by our late bus.
  • Language Arts tutorial every Monday afternoon with Ms. Kelsey.
  • Math tutorial every Thursday afternoon with Ms. Loesche.
  • FREE SAT prep with Mr. Ardito beginning 12/5/2013 and will run until the January 26th SAT. Sign up w/ Mrs. Marsico in room W311.
  • Science tutorial with Ms. Knudsen beginning 12/5/2013 and will run on Thursday afternoons.
