Wreaths of Hope in Harmony with Trees of Hope

The shops at Yale and Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut have partnered to connect New Haven’s vibrant downtown community of shops and restaurants with a twenty-four-yearlong tradition: Trees of Hope. Trees of Hope takes place at the Maritime Center located on Long Wharf Drive and displays more than 100 trees decorated in various themes and donated by numerous organizations and individuals. The shops at Yale have created a beautiful tree decorated with blue and white ornaments and 18 gift cards worth a combined $735. In total the tree is worth more than $1,000 and one lucky supporter will win the entire package including the “Real-Feel” tree with LED lights, all ornaments, and 18 gift cards. Each shop and restaurant that generously donated a gift card will display a Wreath of Hope on its door to indicate its support of Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut, an organization that provides shelter for families of children receiving medical treatment. All proceeds from this event support Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
