Blind Date... With a Book!

Hagaman Memorial Library is taking the old adage, “don’t judge a book by its cover,” to a new level. Patrons are invited to spice up their summers by coming to the library and selecting a blind date—a book that has been wrapped to hide the title and cover—for a truly unique reading experience. Clues are included on the wrapping to help patrons select books they will enjoy, but more information can only be discovered by checking the book out and unwrapping it. As an added bonus, each book contains a free raffle entry that can be returned for a chance to win a real date: movie tickets for two!

The display will be available until the raffle drawing, on August 30. For more information, call the library at: (203) 468-3890, or visit the library's website at: http://www.hagamanlibrary.info/

Display and raffle prizes have been provided by the Hagaman Teen Advisory Group (HTAG), a community service club for teens. To learn more about the HTAG, visit the library's teen page at: http://www.hagamanlibrary.info/teens/
