On Thursday, December 6 at 6:00 pm, Elm City Communities/Housing Authority of New Haven (HANH) will host a live concert and community event at the Quinnipiac Terrace Community Room starring signer, songwriter and recording artist Mary McBride. This event is part of “The Home Tour”, an organization that was founded by the singer-songwriter Mary McBride in 2010, and whose mission is described as “bring[ing] musical concerts to the homes of people who otherwise would not have access to live music”.
Elm City Communities is working as a proud partner of The Home Tour Connecticut concert series to offer a unique opportunity that will brighten spirits and create a sense of community this holiday season with the power of live music. Elm City Communities will also be will be partnering with Fresh Advantage (a New Haven based firm that has coordinated the participation of all food partners and sponsors), the Connecticut Mental Health Center, Claire’s Corner Copia, Alpha to Omega Greek Café, Elm City Market and the Chatham Square Neighborhood Association for the December 6th event.
Admission is free to this live concert event and community celebration. Dinner and dessert will also be served to those who attend, but space is limited and advanced registration is suggested.
