11th Annual Downtown Milford Lamplight Stroll Friday and Saturday, December 7 and 8


Milford, CT -  Visitors will enjoy a nostalgic weekend during the popular classic New England weekend, a traditional event that celebrates the holiday season in true festive style at the 11th Annual Downtown Milford Lamplight Stroll on Friday, December 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visit www.downtownmilfordct.org or email info@downtownmilfordct.org for more information.


Downtown Milford’s finest shops, spas and salons will enthusiastically greet visitors with refreshments, holiday cheer and a unique holiday shopping experience! Some lucky shopper will win a Gift Basket - worth hundreds of dollars - filled with gift certificates, goodies, surprises and treats from downtown businesses. Beginning the week after Thanksgiving, visitors can collect a Gift Basket “Passport” at any participating shop or business. December 7th and 8th, shoppers can stroll from shop to shop to get their Passport stamped. Holders with completed Passports can fill out the reverse side and leave it at any participating business to be eligible to win the fabulous Gift Basket.


Schedule of Events for Friday, December 7th, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.


- Horse and Carriage Rides around the beautiful Green with Mrs. Santa, including story-telling, singing Holiday Carols, and scrumptious North Pole homemade cookies!


- Yuletide Carolers dressed in 19th Century garb will be strolling and caroling around downtown


- Cornerstone Christian Adult and Youth Choirs will be performing on the steps of Milford Photo 


Saturday, December 8th, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Visitors will delight as they receive refreshments, specials, promotions and discounts from participating businesses.


In addition, DMBA has launched a 'Downtown Milford Cares' program. Visitors may donate non-perishable food items - to benefit and restock the Milford Food Bank - at Café Atlantique, Hudson Valley Bank, Me Boutique, Milford Photo, Park Lane Deli, Tranquility Wellness Spa, Villa Gourmet, Village Vogue Boutique, Will-O-Wisp Beads, and the leasing office for Spinnaker Apartments.

How come the details of this tragedy are not reported? The road was shutdown for five hours! I heardRead More the contractor moved the lines in the road to avoid the secret military plumbing project and didn't post signs to alert drivers.
