Marching Band to Perform in Community Preview Show
The East Haven High School Yellow Jacket Marching Band will perform a preview show on Saturday, September 21 at 2pm at the East Haven High School football field at 35 Wheelbarrow Lane in East Haven. The Marching Band, directed by Matt Laudano for the third consecutive year, will perform for community and family members free of charge. The event is meant to serve as a dress rehearsal in preparation for the competition season. The name of the 2013 field show is “Rhapsody” and features songs from Gershwin, Liszt, and Mercury. Friends and family are invited and lemonade will be available. Snack foods and air grams will be available for purchase. Senior members of the marching band will receive a special introduction. In case of inclement weather, the show will be canceled.
