Circle of Security Parenting Program

The Circle of Security Parenting Program provides a roadmap that helps
parents/caregivers more easily recognize and respond to the needs of their
children.  Essentially,  the Circle of Security looks at the relationship between
parent/caregiver and child as a circle.  On the top of the circle is a child's need to explore.  At the bottom of the circle is the child's need to be protected. Children that form healthy attachments to their parent/caregiver are more likely to have higher self-esteem, better relationships and perform better in school.

The Circle of Security Program will run for 8 weeks beginning March 26, 2014
and ending May 28, 2014 from 9am-11am.  Free childcare will be provided and a light breakfast will be served. Registration is required.   Please contact Evelyn Tomasello at 203-468-3898 or evtomasello@east-haven.k12.ct.us.
