Carbo continued, “With just 4 days to go until Election Day, Mayor Maturo’s opponents still have not laid out a clear plan for ensuring prosperity for East Haven in the future.

Neither of the Mayor’s opponents laid out a comprehensive plan to keep taxes stable, balance future budgets, and properly fund infrastructure and education improvements.

On the other hand, Mayor Maturo laid out a realistic plan to keep taxes stable, balance future budgets, and keep debt manageable.”

In his closing statement, Maturo discussed his accomplishments over 12 years as East Haven’s mayor and discussed his plans to make East Haven prosperous for years to come.

Carbo concluded, “Mayor Maturo has a proven record of leadership for East Haven and he demonstrated an extraordinary level of professionalism in tonight’s debate. He was the clear winner and he is the clear choice to lead East Haven forward for the next two years.”
