The debate will be held within the East Haven High School auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.

With this fall's municipal election only a handful of days away, it looked as though a debate among East Haven mayoral candidates wasn't going to happen — much to the chagrin of local residents.
But voters can now turn that frown upside down, as a last minute effort to gather the candidates together to discuss and engage on the issues has proved successful, with an official date now set for a 2013 East Haven mayoral debate.
East Haven Patch has confirmed through Democratic mayoral candidate Jack Stacey's campaign that the debate will take place next Friday, Nov. 1.
The League of Women Voters of Hamden/North Haven will moderate the debate, at a place and time on that has still yet to be determined.
All four East Haven candidates for mayor have been invited:
- Joseph Maturo Jr, Republican candidate
- Jack Stacey, Democratic candidate
- Oni Sioson, an independent candidate
- Adam Christoferson, an independent/Trolley Party candidate
East Haven Patch will continue to provide updates on the debate, as more information and details become available.
