Venditti Bruce To Be Eulogized Monday

The 35-year-old East Haven woman, who was allegedly stabbed to death in Middletown, R.I., will be put to rest in All Saints Cemetery April 4.

Antoinette Venditti Bruce, the 35-year-old East Haven woman who was allegedly stabbed to death March 29 by a former co-worker, will be buried April 4 in .

Bruce was in Middletown, R.I., at the time of her death completing a two-week assignment for her employer, the in Orange where she was a supervisor. Zachary J. Lepelusa, 24, of Milford has been charged with her murder, according to .

Bruce lived with her husband, Christopher Bruce, in East Haven.

Folks around town who knew the deceased told Patch they were devastated and didn't want to make any public statements.

According to Venditti Bruce's obituary, she was the daughter of Domenico and Elizabeth Martone Venditti, sister of Anna (Thomas) Albe, granddaughter of Michelina Venditti and the late Antonio Venditti -- all of East Haven -- and granddaughter of  Antoinette Martone of Hamden and the late Tomasso Martone. Venditti Bruce is also survived by nephews Trevor Albe, Joshua and Shaun Bruce and Cheyenne Riccio, as well as by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home Monday morning at 9:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call this Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
