State Police Kept Busy on Labor Day
Speeding tickets, a pair of deaths and several hundred accidents were reported over the long weekend.
Labor Day weekend had more than 300 accidents and more than 1,000 tickets for speeding, according to Connecticut State Police. The statistics, which begin on Friday at 12:01 a.m. and end at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, were released on Tuesday.
The figures represent action taken by state police and not local municipal police.
