The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, 10 p.m., CBS

Ah yes. Nothing said deck the halls like starved women in sparkly underpants. Of course, they are often wearing angel wings, which makes it Christmas-y. Last week I read a little article about the “diet” of one of these VS models. Six weeks before the show she eats only a couple ounces of protein and raw vegetables. A week before, she switches to only protein shakes. Two days before she switches to just water, and the 24 hours before, she has nothing. Amazing she is able to make it all the way down the catwalk.

New Girl, 9 p.m., Fox

The Thanksgiving episode was pure genius, right down to the Black Friday line at the big box store. So great. Tonight, Winston joins Jess’s handbell quartet. Because of course, Jess plays the handbells.
