It’s the day after Christmas and we are full of nog and tired of the relatives and wondering where we are going to put all this stuff, so Brian goes easy on us with these topics: “A funding platform that helps turn creative dreams into reality; Lou Bellamy, artistic director and founder of Penumbra Theatre in St. Paul, Minn.; awkward family photos; author Regis Philbin; Mannheim Steamroller founder Chip Davis.”

Rudolph’s Shiny New Year, 8 p.m., ABC

I personally find this special weird and kind of creepy, but enjoy: “Rudolph the reindeer comes to the rescue when an evil bird kidnaps the New Year baby. Voices of Red Skelton, Frank Gorshin, Morey Amsterdam.”

The Closer, 9 p.m., TNT

Last episode of this mini-season before it comes back for the big finale in the summer. “A murder related to Turell Baylor's death occurs; Brenda seeks the help of a businessman with old ties to the neighborhood; Brenda's lawyer and the Baylor family lawyer face off in court.”
