On Tonight: Christmas in Rockefeller Center, The X Factor and I Hate My Teenage Daughter

It's Wednesday, and there's another holiday-related extravaganza on your TV tonight.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

Christmas in Rockefeller Center, 8 p.m., NBC

“The 79th-annual tree-lighting takes place in New York; scheduled performers include Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, Michael Bublé, Cee Lo Green, Faith Hill, Carole King, Katharine McPhee, Javier Colon and Megan Hilty; Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie host.” Really, this rivals the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade in terms of bad lip-synching.

The X Factor, 8 p.m., Fox

I was thrilled at the ousters in the last two weeks (true confession: caught up on all four episodes on Sunday instead of cleaning the bathrooms). I was so hoping that Astro would get his too-big-britches hoisted up his petard last week, though, as payback for his petulant behavior the week before. Ding, dong, Lakoda Rayne is dead though. Coming soon to a 7-11 near you! I officially hope Josh wins and Rachel comes in second.

I Hate My Teenage Daughter, 9:30 p.m., Fox

The last debut of the fall season, almost in time for winter! From everything I have seen and read, don’t bother. It will be gone by New Year’s.
