No Serious Injuries in Accident Along Messina Drive
Earlier reports that an East Haven Police car may have been involved proved to be inaccurate.
There were no reported serious injuries following a three-car colission along Messina Drive in East Haven earlier this evening.
The incident occurred just before 5 p.m near the Trolley Square Plaza entrance along the busy downtown side street.
Assistant Chief Chuck Licata told East Haven Patch a short time ago that none of the individuals involved in the accident were taken to the hospital and no one had reported any serious injuries.

"It was more of a fender bender really," Licata said.
There had been a report that an car was one of those involved in the accident, but that eventually proved not to be the case.

, however, are expected to lead to some hazardous driving conditions at times, and so motorists are urged to use caution when travelling area roads this evening.
