The National Weather Service says golf ball-sized hail and winds in excess of 70 mph are possible this evening.

The warning will be in effect until 6:30 p.m. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch will remain in effect for the county until 10 p.m.

Golf ball-sized hail and winds in excess of 70 mph are not out of the question, according to the severe weather alert on the Weather Channel's website.
