Update at 11:20 a.m.
It appears that most of the town's electricity supply is back online following Tuesday's storm.
United Illumating is now reporting only four East Haven customers are still without power after the heavy winds and rains moved through last night.
The power interruptions appear to be individual homes that have lost their electricty, as opposed to a single incident that has left multiple customers without power.
The number of those without service in town had been as high as 222 earlier this morning.
UI is still estimating all repairs to the lines in East Haven will be completed by 6 p.m this evening.
More than 200 East Haven homes and businesses are still without power Wednesday morning following Tuesday evening's wind and rain storm.
According to United Illuminating's outage list, 222 customers in East Haven currently do not have electricity. That translates to about 1.7 percent of the town.
That number is up slightly from early this morning, when 206 residents reported they had no power.
The bulk of the outages in East Haven are in the southeastern portion of town, off Short Beach Road near the border with Branford.
The estimated restore time for all reported incidents in town is about 6 p.m., UI reports on its outage map.
A total of 1,891 UI customers were reporting they were powerless as of 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday. That's about 0.59% percent of the company's 320,150 service area.
