Maturo Files Complaint Against Former Town Attorney

East Haven and state bar officials declined to provide details about the grievance filed against Patricia Cofrancesco, but it appears to be another volley in the mayor's political battle with the Police Commission.

A professional grievance has been filed by East Haven ’s administration against former town attorney , who as an independent legal counse for the Board of Police Commissioners.

An article by the New Haven Register reports Mayor Maturo confirmed the grievance had been filed against the East Haven-based lawyer.

But, both Maturo and representatives of the bar's Statewide Grievance Committee declined to give specific details about the nature of the complaint and when it was submitted.
