The state Department of Transportation will once again be working on Kimberly Avenue in East Haven today trimming trees, according to a traffic alert posted on the East Haven Police Department's Facebook page.
The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to allow crews to complete their work. 9:00am-2:30pm.
Detour routes will be on Sidney Street.
Police advise residents to give themselves a few an extra few minutes this morning.
They added that the "work will be done weather permitting."
