Expect Delays: Kimberly Ave Closed for Tree Trimming Today
Kimberly Avenue will once again be closed Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to allow state transportation department crews to continue their tree trimming work, according to East Haven Police.
The state Department of Transportation will once again be working on Kimberly Avenue in East Haven today trimming trees, according to a traffic alert posted on the East Haven Police Department's Facebook page.
The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to allow crews to complete their work. 9:00am-2:30pm.
Detour routes will be on Sidney Street.

Police advise residents to give themselves a few an extra few minutes this morning.
They added that the "work will be done weather permitting."
