We do many events (Church and School) and have a fully functional kitchen. I applaud the fact that they are showing these scores regularly! @Anne...lol

Many years ago, mid to late 80's, there was an inspector running around Branford / East Haven acting like a dictator in the health inspection field. He had tried numerous times to do his inspections right around lunch time when food is continually being prepared, sandwiches etc.. He would penalize the permittee for having food on the floors, bay marie shield open, etc.. I witnessned a cook actually throw him out the front door. He would make comments such as he could make "this go away" and we all know what that means. I hope for the sale of these food services business owners he is no longer around. Hopefully in jail.

I was being sarcastic.....it was just that the title of article is "restaurant inspections"....wasn't thinking of all food-serving entities.

Restaurants are usually fine-its when rude, wisecracking, sarcastic, perverted customers come in&the waitstaff "accidentaly" drops. thier. food on the floor or spits in thier sandwhich! Moral of the story-dont bite the hand that feeds you!

Ocean State job lot serves food?
Teresa February 27, 2013 at 10:58 AM
Its not about "where"-the point is you can go to a clean facility just remember to mind your manners.!! I would never do that, but,I've seen it done.
Bob Fawkes February 27, 2013 at 12:47 PM
Teresa, Where have you "seen it done"? You seem to condone the low class unhealthy and criminal acts of waitstaff "dropping on the floor of" or "spitting into" customers sandwiches. What the hell is the matter with you?
