East Haven Fall Festival: 'This Year We Will Wow You'

The 21st annual East Haven Fall Festival kicks off tomorrow on the town green. And the organizing committee chairman is ready to welcome you to this weekend's festivities.

This year we will “WOW” you with two new featured bands, some new musical groups and .

Features:

  • Rides and games, activities by local civic groups, arts & crafts, the Chamber business showcase, the Fall festival classic car show, great food offerings, the Teen Center, and of course the great East Haven High School Marching Band.
  • Friday evening the Bronx Wanderers will wander on the Green and I promise that you will be entertained and dance all night. Also performing will be , one of our favorites!
  • Saturday night our featured band is The Dupree’s, marking their 50th anniversary. Their big hits are “My Own True Love”, “Have You Heard”, “You Belong To Me”, and “See The Pyramids Along The Nile”. A very impressive resume. Do you remember?
  • Sunday, The Sonido Libre Latin Band, The Jim Lawson Band and The Bernadettes will perform along with some added features.

This year the Fall Festival Committee is honoring D.B.S Energy Incorporated, and the is honoring the East Haven Courier for their very generous support of this year’s festival.
