The Connecticut-based L.A.B. Rescue, a Labrador and all-breed rescue organiziation, has taken Merlin in — and its volunteers are now working to find him a new forever home

"Because of the circumstances of his situation, the ACO felt better letting him go to a rescue," Corwell said of Merlin. "So they can interview people and find the right home for him."

Original Story

This is Merlin. Merlin is a 3-year-old Border Collie/Saint Bernard mix. Surprisingly he is only approximately 60 lbs. His owner used to run four miles a day with Merlin so he is in really good shape.

He is up to date on shots and is neutered. He is good with other dogs and kids.  No cats.

He will be euthanized on Saturday, Oct. 22 if he does not have an adopter or rescue/shelter to take him. Merlin is a happy and friendly dog.
