Similar to , commuters will soon face rush hour service cuts on the Shore Line East railroad east of New Haven to accommodate construction on a railroad bridge in Madison.
An article published by the Connecticut Plus web site said the schedule change would begin on Monday, April 23, and would require busing passengers between the Guilford, Old Saybrook and Westbrook stations.
The announcement said the changes were designed to produce the minimum amount of inconvenience for rail passengers. Service west of New Haven should not be affected, it said.
