New ShopRite Owner to Address East Haven Rotary Club

There's a new ShopRite opening in town on Route 80 this fall. Owner-operator Harry Garafalo will address the EH Rotary Club Aug. 29.

A message from the East Haven Rotary Club:

The Rotary Club of East Haven meets every Thursday evening at Twin Pines Diner Restaurant in East Haven, promptly at 6:15 pm. 

As part of the club’s regular programming, the Rotary gives area organizations and their principals the opportunity to speak or make a brief presentation to their membership.

Harry Garafalo, owner-operator of the new Shop Rite in East Haven, will be addressing the Rotarians on Thurs., August 29. The highly anticipated business is expected to open on Route 80 in the Foxon section of East Haven, early this fall. 

Garafalo will be updating the members on the new store’s progress, products and the part that Shop Rite plays in the communities that they serve.

The Rotary’s weekly meetings are accompanied by a full dinner and take place in the new private dining area of Twin Pines, located at 34 Main Street. Meetings are not open to the public but Rotarians are encouraged to bring guests. There is limited seating available. Anyone wishing to attend must contact a member of East Haven Rotary in advance to attend as their guest. The cost will be $20 which will pay for the dinner. Unfortunately, the club will be unable to accommodate anyone at the door.
