[UPDATED] Supercuts Opening in East Haven

The national hair salon chain says it's hoping to have its new salon open by mid-June in the Trolley Square Plaza.

Update at 9:30 a.m. on Friday

Supercuts tells East Haven Patch that it hopes to have its new salon in the Trolley Square Plaza open by mid-June.

A company spokesperson said there is no set date yet for an official opening, as there is still some construction work that must be completed at the site in setting up the new store front.

Original Story

residents who like to keep a close eye on style will soon have another option when it comes to managing their carefully coiffed cuts.

Supercuts, the national hair salon chain, is set to open a new store in the Trolley Square Plaza.

Although Supercuts did not immediately return a Monday afternoon call from East Haven Patch, the company reports the new salon will be "Opening Soon" at 300 Hemingway Avenue on its website.

A local phone number is also listed, but it is not yet in service.

In addition, within the last few days Regis — Supercuts' parent company — has placed online advertisments looking to hire local hair stylists for the new East Haven salon.

The new Supercuts comes about six months after its doors in the plaza.

East Haven Patch will provide an update on the new salon's opening date as soon as additional information becomes available.
